PT goes first. Then DT.

PT gets to do a rebuttal if they want after DT closing.

that's how he looks all the time---I did catch him once talking with an attorney and yesterday he rested his hand on his chin--but this is the normal look

We don't have a very large garden. We want a climbing frame too so we decided on a single swing. James doesn't like going outside very much so we are trying to coax him with fun things. We did have a trampoline but he refused to go on it because it gave him static shocks lol!

Oohhh, my, Maisie. What a cute guy -- I love how his hair is kind of "at ease"! I love little boys -- we have "one young'un" -- a boy, and he is now 30 y/o. I love to hug'em ("Oh, Mom!" but they really do like it). Little boys (no matter what the age) are so special to us moms! I imagine he's a challenge sometimes (a good friend of mine had 2 autistic sons) since he is special, but what rewards I'm sure you both get when things go well and happy -- and to see them improve & get that happy look in their eyes. Bless you all!

In Colorado, alternate jurors are chosen by the way they "landed" in certain seat #'s. #theatershooting

This judge is WONDERFUL and basically apologizing that the alternates will have to be kept at the courthouse during deliberations.

Alternates will be in a separate room. They cannot talk about the case with each other or with other deliberating jurors. Deliberating jurors can have no contact with alternates.

There will be 7 alternates.

judge will sequester alternates within the courthouse and also change parking arrangements to avoid contact

Courthouse closes at 5:30 so that will be time limit as long as each day of deliberations.

Arriving time is totally up to deliberating jurors so long as courthouse is open.

I have 5 children. James is the youngest. And he is the hardest work lol! The biggest blessing is that James is a mummy's boy! He adores me. He says we are 'love birds' (no idea where he heard that) and shouldn't be separated. That part is difficult! Means I can't go too far from him.

That said, I love this little guy with all my heart and I will spend my life making sure he is happy, safe and comfortable.

As long as jurors are all in agreement, they can come in at 8 or 9, deliberate as long as they want but not past 5:30pm. #theatershooting

Lunch is usually brought into the deliberating and alternates.

Deliberations can only occur when ALL deliberating jurors are present. If 1 steps out of jury room, then talk has to stop about case.

He recommends alternates bring a book or something. Bring puzzle. ETc.

He is going to go over the instructions again next week but wanted to explain some of the instructions now so they can begin preparations.

I'm touched by that statement. I don't think my kids truly understand what being a Mom means to me---I'm always on them to text me when they land wherever they are going--(my girls are BFF-being twins they are very close, closer than me and my twin) I love them to bits!!!! There were out living on their own and when they came by DH kept thinking they would move out right away (have you seen economy?--they don't want to live here but....)

I was heartbroken when my two eldest left home to get married. I'm clinging on to the other 3 lol!!
