The Denver Police Department is hoping the public can help investigators find a woman who has been missing since Monday.

• Jasmine Cigarroa, 24, has been missing since going out with friends Monday.
• She was last seen near East 28th Avenue and Roslyn Street.
• Jasmine is white with black hair and brown eyes.
• She is 5' tall and weighs 125 pounds.

Anyone with information on Cigarroa’s whereabouts is asked to contact Denver police at: 720-913-2000.

According to Facebook, friends and family have set up a search 10 a.m. Friday at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

A sad update to Jasmine’s disappearance. We just interviewed her brother an hour before the information came out. I am talking with her brother in just a few minutes. Jasmine’s family is devastated.

The search was called off because of darkness but investigators resumed the search in the area of East 26th Avenue and Powhaton Road and found what are believed to be Cigarroa’s remains. Police arrested Mijangos, 23, on Friday afternoon.

Oh no....sadly, I’m not surprised, we all have heard this story way too often, but I am saddened by the tragedy. Praying justice will fall like rain.
