Family Disputes Claim Jasmine Cigarroa, 24, Was With Friends The Night She Disappeared
The Denver Police Department is searching for a woman who has been missing since Monday. Investigators say Jasmine Cigarroa has not returned home since going out with friends on Monday night, but her family disputes that claim.
Her husband told us that Jasmine left around 7 p.m. with a friend and she never came back,” said Francisco Cigarroa, Jasmine’s brother. “We talked to her friend and she said she texted Jasmine but she never came down from her apartment.”

Uh oh... That doesn't sound good. And, who goes out with friends and leaves their phone, keys and wallet at home? MOO

Hmmmm -- I don't like this, either.
And yes, someone is lying, seems to me.
I just can't get over all these people missing.
Older ones, younger ones, every day a new one.
(Didn't mean it to sound like a children's song...)

Thanks for the thread, Pommy.

And let me put this out there. I will never leave without my cell phone. If that occurs, then something criminal has taken place. I take my cell phone from room to room even.

On Thursday, investigators obtained information that led them to search a rural area of Adams County. The search was called off because of darkness but investigators resumed the search in the area of East 26th Avenue and Powhaton Road and found what are believed to be Cigarroa’s remains. Police arrested Mijangos, 23, on Friday afternoon.

Police have confirmed that it does appear to be a domestic violence-related homicide. The Denver Police Department encourages anyone with information related to this case to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867).

Oh no....sadly, I’m not surprised, we all have heard this story way too often, but I am saddened by the tragedy. Praying justice will fall like rain.

Praying for the repose of Jasmin’s soul and for comfort for the family and loved ones.
