I'm SO relieved to hear that there's finally an arrest. Fingers crossed that more serious charges might come and the full story comes out.

Oh my goodness, I was so scared this wouldn't go anywhere. It's not justice, at all, but it's movement. I hope this continues! And I wonder what took so long to get to this point?

RIP Jax 💕

interesting, pretty unusual name so I'm assuming it's this guy.

'Mumma is expected to appear in court on Thursday.'

'That's kind of bittersweet that my daughter is gone and he's here," Gratton's mother Cherilynne Gratton Camis told Denver7's Veronica Acosta on Thursday evening. "... I am thankful for Jax's community, and I am thankful for the people that knew her and shared space with her, and I am thankful for the people that searched for her. I am thankful for the people that showed up week after week at city council and poured their heart out."

"I think tonight I will sleep more than two hours," she added. "I think I will not have nightmares. And I hope Jax is pleased with the outcome. She needed justice.'

This article says Jax apparently died in her sleep (unsure if that's only according to the man they arrested or if there's more evidence for that). Didn't investigators previously say she had trauma consistent with falling/jumping/being pushed from a significant height? I don't want to say more than that out of respect for Jax and her family, but I can potentially see some pieces coming together.

It also sounds like there was a SECOND man who was with Jax and the suspect the night before her death, but he's been cooperative and hasn't been charged with anything. I wonder where he's been all of this time? A lot of time and resources could've been saved if he came forward about being with Jax after she went missing. We don't know his reasoning, so I don't want to cast any judgement yet, but it seems weird to me.

Perhaps the trauma came after her death - I'm assuming (for now) that she died due to an overdose in her sleep and was subsequently pushed out of the window in attempt to conceal the body.
