AURORA, Colo. — The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued an Endangered Missing Alert for a woman who deputies believe was kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend.

CBI said Jessica Meise, 43, of Aurora was last seen by witnesses at 26000 E. Quincy Ave. in Aurora where, CBI said, she was "forcibly kidnapped/abducted."

Investigators identified the suspect as Lance Foster, 43, of Arvada. The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said deputies believe Foster kidnapped Meise after stalking her.

Deputies said the pair was last seen headed westbound on East Quincy Avenue at South Gun Club Road at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday. Foster was driving a black 2008 Lincoln MKZ with Colorado license plate number BTM A53, investigators said.

Deputies said they believe the victim is in danger. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call 911, or call Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office dispatch at 303-795-4711.

Kidnapped woman found alive in Wheat Ridge

A 43-year-old woman was found alive in Wheat Ridge Wednesday morning after a forcible kidnapping late Tuesday, authorities said.

“Her only injuries were from that initial assault when she was pulled into the car. There were no injuries after that,” Delgado said.

West Metro SWAT officers arrested Lance Foster as a suspect in connection to the kidnapping. He was injured and hospitalized and soon will be transferred to the Arapahoe County Detention Facility, Delgado said.

About 10 p.m. Tuesday, investigators received information the pair were at an apartment in the 10200 block of West 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, a residence connected to a relative of Foster.

Foster’s vehicle was found in the area and police contacted Foster, who agreed to release the victim. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

A standoff ensued and a woman, a grandmother, was safely evacuated through a bedroom window, according to police. Foster was taken into custody about 6:40 a.m. and then taken to a hospital as a precaution measure. He’ll be held at the Arapahoe County Jail.

Suspected kidnapping victim found safe in Wheat Ridge, Jeffco Sheriff's Office says

At 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, investigators obtained an arrest warrant, the sheriff's office said. They were able to rescue Foster's grandmother, who was also in the apartment. Foster was taken into custody at 6:40 a.m.
