Found Safe CO - Joshua Gonzalez, 14, Westminster, 5 Dec 2018 *gravely disabled, unable to comprehend danger*

December 5, 2018

This evening around 7:15pm, Westminster Police were notified of a missing juvenile from the area of 8400 block of Church Ranch Boulevard.

Joshua Gonzales suffers from several mental health disorders and is considered gravely disabled. Joshua is unable to comprehend dangerous situations and will not be able to recognize the colder temperatures.

It is believed, at this time, Joshua left with another child from the above location.

Joshua is described as:

5’5” tall
116 pounds
Brown hair
Brown eyes

He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey sweat pants and black shoes.

We are asking for the public’s help in locating Joshua. If you see Joshua please contact law enforcement.

Gosh is he a cutie. What kind of mental or cognitive issues make one unable to recognize danger or cold climates? I’m just curious if anyone knew.. hoping this sweet kid is found today.

Thank you for the update @rainynights I was worried about Joshua, being out at night not knowing he would be in danger. So thankful he was found SAFE!!!
