Missing Endangered Child in Unincorporated Boulder County
Boulder County, Colo. - The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing endangered child.
14-year-old Max Runner, was reported missing from the Mackintosh Academy, located at 6717 South Boulder Road, to the Boulder County Communications Center. Max was last seen near the school at approximately 1:46 p.m. Max is considered to be endangered due to having autism.
Max was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a black baseball cap with a rainbow-colored brim, gray sweatpants, and yellow shoes. He has long light brown hair.
If you know where Max is located, or are currently in contact with him, please call 911 immediately. If you have seen Max today, but are not in contact with him, please call the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office tip line at 303-441-3674 or email: [email protected].
Search efforts are ongoing and include ground teams on foot, horseback operations, aircraft, drones, bloodhound, and other K9 teams. Emergency alerts were issued, and information has been shared through social media channels. If you have a property in the area, please take a look around your property including outbuildings.
Multiple agencies are actively involved in the search, including members of the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, Mounted Search and Rescue, and Emergency Services, along with the Colorado State Patrol, Front Range Rescue Dogs, Rocky Mountain Rescue, Boulder Emergency Squad drone team, Mountain View Fire Rescue, City of Boulder Open Space and Mountain Parks rangers, and Boulder County Parks and Open Space rangers.
The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office appreciates the public’s assistance as the search continues.
