Circumstances of Disappearance:
Douglas, a pastor from Lyons, Colorado, was last known to be at St. Louis Lambert Airport in St. Louis, Missouri on January 30, 1984. He has never been heard from again. He had gone to Missouri to conduct a land transaction, which he completed. He also made a side-trip to Des Moines, Iowa on January 28, 1984 for unknown reasons.

The day he disappeared, he was to fly to Denver, Colorado. The investigation revealed he had placed a suitcase in a locker at Lambert Airport in St. Louis, but never picked up a boarding pass and never boarded the flight to Denver.

Douglas had told his wife he might take a side-trip to Kansas City, Missouri to see the "big church" (Nazarene Headquarters). He flew from Kansas City to Des Moines, then back to St. Louis. However, no one reported seeing him at the Nazarene Headquarters. Few details are available regarding Douglas' disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown. Boulder County Sheriff's Office in Colorado are investigating.
