Circumstances of Disappearance: Family did not file a missing persons report until October 20, 2023, thirteen years after William's last known contact. During the final call with him, he stated his intent to go to Hollywood, CA to "make a name for himself."

There are no exclusions on NamUs. No photos of William are available as of posting.

There are very, very few details in this case, but William has had no contact with his family since 2010. It is unknown how he intended to get to Hollywood, if he had a car, if he hitched a ride, etc.

I hope the family can get some answers now that he is officially a missing person in the system.

It's worth noting that, if he really did drive to California, he would've likely taken one of these two routes.

(The driving thing is only speculation. It isn't publicly known if he had a car or where that car might be. He may have taken a bus, plane, or hitchhiked, if he even left Colorado at all.)

Route Option #1 is the shorter route. This route takes roughly 15.5 hours (plus or minus traffic). It primarily takes I-70 W and I-15 S to go through Utah and Nevada.

Route Option #2 is longer, but also uses major highways. It takes about 19 hours. This route uses I-25 S and I-10 W to go through New Mexico and Arizona.

Again, this is assuming he left Colorado. Or that he was taking a standard highway route instead of some weird backroads. The info in this case is so limited that it is worth broadening searches to these other states as well.
