It's understood missing Cole Cooper was seen in his hometown Banknock at around 7pm on Wednesday, May 7.

Officers in Forth Valley are asking for help from the public to trace a 19-year-old man reported missing from the Falkirk area.

Cole Cooper was reported missing on Friday, 9 May and was last seen around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 7 May in the Glasgow Road area of Longcroft by an associate.

The last confirmed CCTV sighting of Cole was around 6am on Sunday, 4 May in the Longcroft area.

He is known to frequent the Denny, Cumbernauld and Paisley areas.

He is described as around 5ft 10ins, of medium build with brown short hair. He was last seen wearing black puffer-style jacket with black jogging bottoms.

Inspector Neil Wotherspoon, Falkirk Police Office, said: “We are increasingly concerned for Cole’s welfare and have carried out extensive enquiries in the area with specialist resources.

"We would ask anyone who has seen him, or knows where he might be to get in touch. I would also like to appeal to Cole himself to contact family, friends or our officers.

“Anyone with information about Cole's whereabouts should call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 828 of 9 May 2025.

The last sighting was "on the A803 Glasgow/Kilsyth Road at the junction with Cumbernauld road in Banknock at around 7pm on Wednesday, May 7."

Where could he be now, though? If he's having a medical episode, etc., you would think he'd have come to the attention of law enforcement by now. This is very concerning, and I feel for his family.

Sick death message sent to family of missing teen last seen on doorbell footage

Cole Cooper, from Banknock in Falkirk, was last seen over a week ago in the early hours of Sunday, May 4.

''After Aimee replies, they write: "1. That he's dead. 2. That his death was accidental. 3. That someone close to me was involved. 4. That I'll need to be paid to provide information on his whereabouts and the perpetrator's. 5. That I'm sorry I should have come forward sooner but I was conflicted."

Aimee says she was left disgusted after receiving the message as she revealed she and Cole's mum "broke down".

Speaking to the Record, she said: "To be honest police warned us about scammers. However, as a family we haven’t ruled out any possibilities, so when I received that message my heart dropped, I felt sick. Both me and Cole's mum broke down.''

That was another poster, not me! (But don't worry. The mistake is okay. But I want to add I purposely didn't post about the messages and how his family is struggling, although I saw those articles too. It just feels so personal.)

I hope and pray he returns home safe this weekend to his family. And that these scammers hurting his family and trying to steal money will be located and charged with a crime. These types of scammers are despicable.

She said: "The story is that a boy Cole knows was doing a job up in Bonnybridge, he was meeting a friend at Mango Restaurant car park with a tool for the job.

"He said he he saw Cole and they spoke briefly and that Cole mentioned to this boy his phone was broke, but never mentioned where he had come from or where he was going. This boy said he was not aware that Cole was missing at this time.

What about these people he was last seen with? Are they all trustworthy? Fully cooperating with LE? Probably yes, but it has to be asked. IMO.

The article mentions police searches, including near a canal path. How far is water from where he was last seen?

With him last being seen on A803 Glasgow/Kilsyth road at the junction with Cumbernauld road there is in fact water just south of his last sighting, no more than half a mile away. It's called "Bonny Water" it looks like some sort of stream or river. It looks like it connects to other rivers/streams as well. Is this area specifically mentioned in your findings of the police search? Is this an area of interest? Has there been any more information regarding Cole since his last sighting?

but where could he be now? and if that sighting is correct, he was able to change clothes somewhere
