Cops follow trail of pine needles to nab Christmas tree thief

A trail of evergreen needles was all police needed to solve the case of a pine tree purloined from the front yard of a Winnipeg home. Two days before Christmas, the homeowner complained to police that someone had cut down and taken a pine tree from his yard. Officers went to the home Tuesday and were able to track a trail of needles to another house in the neighbourhood.

Last Christmas I was walking my dog in the park behind my house and saw a guy cutting down a tree! LOL Finally, the guy turned around and noticed the squad car with the lights on! LOL
