Corpse Flower Blooms

The worlds smellest flower has been bought into bloom by the Uks heatwave.
The smell of the corpse flower is a cross between rotton cheese,dog poo and something dead .
I think if it was in my garden Id be hitting in with weed killer

for this winter & the past one in TX, the poor plants & trees don't know what to do. they keep going in & out of bloom, as if to say- uuuuhh, do we flower? do we go dormant? what's going on?
also i read that some parts of england are becoming like the mediterranean.. even with vineyards.
