The autopsy only said the fruit or vegetable found in Jonbenet ‘s digestive system may have resembled pineapple. Crab meat looks similar to pineapple, could the material have actually bean the crab meat that was eaten at the whites party?

No, I don;t think so, based on the timeline. The crab was eaten much earlier and so would have been further along in the digestive tract. The pineapple was only ingested maybe 2 hours before death.
IMO.

This is a great question because crab meat takes longer to digest than pineapple, from what I’m understanding. The pineapple has been a big issue for many and this just may make them reconsider. It’s worth checking out. All IMO.

The pineapple was matched to the rind of it in the R's refrigerator. The bowl of pineapple is part of the CS.

Thank you for this information.

I could be wrong, but as an avid fan/eater of both pineapple and crab I feel like they don't look much alike.

Crab is primarily protein, while pineapple is sugars & starches including fiber.

How different foods look on a plate doesn't matter to your stomach & intestines. Protein, carbohydrates, and fat matter there. Your body will release different enzymes to snip the big molecules apart.

No link, nutrition educator in real life, college credit in knowing this stuff but not willing to dig out a textbook on a Saturday morning.

I trust the autopsy report on this. Remember that these folks take graduate courses in things like stomach contents.

(I don't wanna watch the slide show on that one, nope.)

Others have stated it more scientifically but I don't think the 2 are very similar at all
