"A burly man wearing women's clothes was caught on videotape burglarizing a Long Island beauty salon, and the owner says the hulking drag queen should also be busted by the fashion police for terrible clothing, hair and makeup.
Suffolk County Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the 6-foot-2 person who wore a dress, wig, stockings, and makeup.
The crook attached a chain from his SUV or pickup truck to the door of an East Northport salon and dragged it open in January.
"Major help is needed," chuckled Meridian Salon owner Jack Corona, looking at the surveillance video of the dowdy burglar. "I think he wanted to get in before the crowd and get a makeover."
Corona said the she-male needs to lose the synthetic brown wig and "go with a softer look, not so much makeup," by lightening up on the thick foundation makeup and cheek rouge. The floral print dress adds years and pounds and has to go, he said.
"When you're that size, you should definitely stay away from busy patterns, not to mention burglary," laughed Corona.
