all ages matter this case is local to me i live about 45 minutes from where she went missing i was only 9 years old in 1990 no other info seems like she vanished and never came back and wanted to be hidden forever

Very sad that there is NO information out there except "she left after on argument with her mother". Seems very strange - it's not like she was a teenager at the time' she was 39. Hopefully someone can dig up some info to help with our sleuthing.

From a ~30 min search on Ancestry, I found an Angela Chiaramonte (sometimes spelled Chairmonte) living off of Fresh Meadow Road in New Haven, CT from ~1978-88. Seeing as she went missing in 1990 and was likely born in 1950/51, this adds up to me.

A Donald J Chiaramonte (with similar off-spellings) is listed at the same road from 1975-2020. He was born 1960 and may have been from Maine, or at least lived there once.

Can't find any marriage records for either, as I'm unsure if Chiaramonte is Angela's maiden name...I'm assuming it's her married name due to being 39 in 1990, a sign of the times, per se. So, did she marry this younger man? Who are her parents and what is her maiden name? What was the argument about?

While I'm stumped, I am putting this Jane Doe forward as a potential match.

I have continued my Ancestry sleuthing, and I have found Angela's parents. In her mother's obituary, the cities where her children live are listed, apart from Angela. She is listed last, simply as Angela Chiaramonte. Donald, as I previously mentioned, is her younger brother. So Angela's maiden name is Chiaramonte! I believe she is the firstborn, as her parents married in 1949. I couldn't find a husband or children of her own. But I found her family on FB and surprisingly one of her siblings reposted a missing person's report in 2023...

I suppose none of this matters if we don't know more about why she disappeared. But why does it seem that her siblings didn't try and find her? Especially if they're now willing to post about other missing people. I haven't been able to find any newspaper reports about Angela, or any missing women that fit her description around the time. So I really wonder what they all think happened to her...?
