I live close to this area and went to school ever closer. As reported earlier here car was found near the AirLine Trail which are old railroad tracks that have been converted to hiking and biking trails. They are very popular and are well traveled except for middle of winter. I have been reading posts from an Airline Trail group with updated info on the search etc. However I am not sure if posting that info here violates policy.

On Thursday, her family asked businesses, homeowners, hikers, hunters, trail users, and anyone with security cameras, dash cameras, trail cameras, doorbell cameras, or parking lot surveillance to review their footage.

They are specifically interested in footage from Willimantic / Windham, Mansfield, Ashford, Chaplin, Eastford, Woodstock, Phoenixville, and along Route 198 and surrounding side roads.

The primary timeframe to review footage is from Sunday, Oct. 26 at approximately 4:45 p.m. through Monday, Oct. 27 at 2 p.m., but movement before or after this timeframe may also be relevant, according to the family.

“Residents and businesses are also asked to report if they may have seen anyone walking on foot in the area of Route 198, forest access roads, trailheads, or nearby properties during this timeframe,” the announcement said.
