Aryndel Castro, above, was murdered in 2013 and his body was recovered in 2021.
'BRIDGEPORT — A South Carolina man who helped police solve a 2013 cold case murder — implicating himself in the crime — was sentenced Friday to 10 years in prison.'

"In May, Shawn Gibson, of Hamden, who police said beat Castro to death, was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree manslaughter and hindering prosecution.''
