Family continues to look for missing New Haven man, nearly 7 years later

• Distinguishing Characteristics Caucasian male. Brown hair, blue eyes. Kaeser has a small scar on the top of his head. He may wear eyeglasses. His clothing size is medium/large, with a 32 or 33 inch waist.

Details of Disappearance​

Kaeser was last seen at the Saint Raphael Campus of Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut on April 17, 2018. He has never been heard from again. He was born in Centerport, New York and had previously lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he attended the University of Michigan. He lived in New Haven at the time of his disappearance. Few details are available in his case.

There's practically zero public information available on Bret. Even just searching his name on Google brings up multiple articles that all repeat the same details quoted above in the Charley Project write-up.

According to the articles, "his family has been tirelessly searching for him since his disappearance."

I certainly believe that they are, and I don't mean any disrespect, but we as the public need more info from them if we're being asked to help.

Bret was last seen at a hospital. Was he a patient there? Was he getting treatment? If so, for what? Could that be a factor in the disappearance? Or was he visiting someone else at the hospital? If so, who? What was that person there for?

Bret has a small scar on the top of his head. From what? Did he get into a fight with someone? If so, did that person continue to harbor ill will against Bret? Or did Bret just fall? If so, was it just an accident? Or does he have a medical condition that made him fall? Is that why he was at the hospital? Could have succumbed to that alleged condition after leaving the hospital?

Up to now, I'm not finding any articles that detail what the family is doing to get the word out, any blogs, posts, or pages created to find him or answer questions. So if any of them are reading, I would kindly invite them to share what they know on here.
