Unless I'm missing something, we must have missed Mr. Tremblay. Another one who swears that his home life persona is separate from his teacher persona. OK, then.

Former West Haven High Teacher, Coach Sentenced For Possession Of Child
November 16, 2011


NEW HAVEN—A former West Haven High School teacher and swim coach who pleaded guilty to possession of child was sentenced this month to 2 1/2 years in prison and 10 years of probation. David Tremblay, 62, was sentenced Nov. 4 in Superior Court in New Haven. He resigned from his position in August of 2010, soon after the investigation started. He taught high school chemistry and coached girls swimming..."

"...Tremblay told investigators who arrived to search his home in August of 2010 that he had a progressive problem with child and "knew this day was coming," according to the warrant. "Tremblay admitted that his side of his life was 'bad' but was separate from his life as a coach and teacher at West Haven High School...."

"....According to that document, Tremblay told state police he had stored and traded the images — of girls ages 5 to 15 — for several years, and that he “knew this day was coming.” Tremblay allegedly told police they would find more than 1,000 images of young girls having sex, and one video of an “18-year-old passed out and someone is having sex with her,” on an external hard drive he hides in a home closet, according to the affidavit...."

I especially like the comment that says that just because he's admitted to the charges, doesn't mean he's guilty. That's a new one.

An interesting document from a couple of weeks ago. This is a Defendent's Memorandum in Aid of Sentencing. It's very interesting to read the overview of how the search went down and to learn that a seasoned teacher and coach did not understand the illegality of child (according to Tremblay). That's kind of curious:
