In March2008 theGovernorauthorized a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime.
The case is being investigated jointly by the Hartford Police Department and the Cold Case Unit of the Chief State's Attorney's Office.

Edward Bell, Jr. - Hartford - May 6, 2005 - $50,000 REWARD
On May 6, 2005, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Hartford Police responded to the area of 110 George Street on reports of shots fired.Edward “Little Man” Bell, Jr., age 34, was transported to Hartford Hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of gunshot wounds.In March2008 theGovernorauthorized a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the crime.
