SOUTHINGTON — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing local teen.
Jason Zhang, 16, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 127 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He is missing from the jurisdiction of State Police Troop H, which covers Southington, Berlin and Plainville. Police did not provide a clothing description.

Hmm, I live nearby and haven't heard a word about this...

A Silver Alert for a young person generally indicates some sort of mental impairment. I really wish they would provide a little more detail, so we could know his state of mind and/or ability to care for himself alone.
