I'm new here and have a question... Is it common to have skeletal remains in just a year or two?

Also, do they not know his race, or are they saying he's mixed? It says both black and white.

It depends on the area (heat, humidity, etc) and where they’re found (if they’re in the water, exposed to sunlight, that kind of thing). In the southeast, I don’t think 1-2 years would be unreasonable, but I don’t know about Connecticut
