''On December 21, 2012, a local family was destroyed by the senseless murder of Kyle Seidel. Kyle, who had sustained a single gunshot, was found lying in the parking lot of the Halftime Lounge and Bowling Alley in Waterford, Connecticut. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds. In the 11-years since his death the Waterford Police Department, State of Connecticut’s Office of the Chief’s State’s Attorney - Cold Case Unit, and many area police departments continue the investigation.

The evidence and information developed thus far have focused the investigation. Detectives have active leads, have located new witnesses, and re-interviewed previous witnesses. ''

''Kyle Seidel was murdered Dec. 21, 2012. No one has ever been charged in his death. (YouTube screenshot)
WATERFORD, CT — Seven years ago today, Kyle Seidel left his Waterford home to pick up Chinese food. But the married father of three then very young children never came home.
His loved ones can never forget, and police too have not forgotten the case. But no one has ever been charged in his inexplicable death.
On the night of Dec. 21, 2012, Seidel, 34, set out to get take-out at the Lucky Inn on Boston Post Road, his wife Kate and kids, 8, 6 and 2 at the time, at home. Why he ended up in the (now-former) Family Bowl and Halftime Lounge is unknown.''

''Kate Seidel has a caution for her husband's killer:
"It has also been 7 years that Kyle’s killer has been walking free. This scum bag knows who he is, knows what he did and knows that he will get caught. And trust me he will get caught! So keep looking over your shoulder because your time is coming. We have the best men and women in law enforcement still working the case. I thank them all from the bottom of my heart. Kyle we love you and no amount of time can change that."
