DARIEN, CT — Connecticut State Police has issued a Silver Alert for 15-year-old Michael Culver, who has been missing since Oct. 18.

Culver is described as white/Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 110 pounds. He is from the Wolcott area in Connecticut.

According to Darien police, Culver was seen at about 9 p.m. Wednesday night getting out of a vehicle on I-95 between exits 13 and 14.

"[Culver was] last seen wearing a hoodie and carrying a white backpack," wrote state police in a statement. "If you have any information on the whereabouts of Michael Culver please contact [Connecticut State Police] Troop G at 203-696-2500."

This sounds like the boy is wanted by police and possibly was being pursued and leg bailed. I hope he is ok.

It looks like this kid goes missing quite often. Just went missing again, running away from Meriden, CT, but last seen in Bristol. https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/43246/0/ Looks like he ran away from the “alternative high school” in Meriden (aka high school for people who don’t like high school or can’t do it for developmental, psychological, behavioral, etc reasons)

The boy is a “habitual runaway,” a spokesman for the Wolcott Police Department said. He was reported missing by his legal guardians recently, and yesterday he was located in New York state, the spokesman said. Then he went missing again as he was returning home, according to the spokesman.In December 2015, when he was 13, he was also reported missing, according to a report in the Meriden Record-Journal

This one is from the October disappearance. In that one he was last seen literally exiting a vehicle on the highway. Poor kid. Wonder what he’s running from?
