Found Deceased CT - Ondine Frohberg, 64, Olive Garden restaurant, Enfield, 1 Nov 2019 *endangered*

Ondine Frohberg, 64, was last seen at the Olive Garden on Route 190 around 1:30 p.m. Friday. She suffers from medical conditions and cognitive disability. She is described as standing 5-foot-4, weighing 160 lbs., with gray hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a red and orange vertical striped shirt and navy blue pants.

Update: 11/3/19 6:04 PM: We would like to thank the CT and RI civilian SAR (search and rescue) teams for assisting us with today’s search efforts. Their K-9 and mountain bike teams searched over 850 acres of property in an effort to locate Ms. Frohberg. Unfortunately, this effort was met with negative results. We want to remind people that if you have any information on the location of Ms. Frohberg to please contact the Enfield Police Department.

According to police, Frohberg, who has cognitive disabilities, was eating with her aide when she got up to visit the restroom and never returned. Police believe she left the restaurant on foot and began walking east, toward Stafford, on Route 190. A Silver Alert was issued.

I live in Enfield and today EPD posted a new update. They have video of her walking West on route 190 towards suffield. This is the opposite direction of the original believed direction. I will post the update in a moment.

Enfield Police continue to seek information in connection with the missing person investigation of Ondine Frohberg.
The investigation to date has shown that Frohberg was last seen walking westbound on Rt. 190 in the area of the I91/Rt 5 overpasses on Friday November 1st at approximately 1:30 pm.

Enfield Police are asking that anyone with “In Car Video Cameras” who were in the area of Rt. 190 and I91/Rt 5 on November 1st at approximately 1:30pm to check their video footage for any possible sighting.
Enfield Police are also asking anyone who lives in the area of Rt. 5 near Rt. 190 and along Rt. 159 near Rt. 190 to check their home exterior camera footage from November 1st for possible sightings.

It has been eight days since 64-year old Ondine Frohberg has gone missing.

With the help from police, people in Enfield and neighboring towns gathered for a search party Saturday afternoon. Many of them said they are still hopeful she is alive.

It is an insanely easy walk from there to the river.

Police continue to ask people to contact them at 860-763-6400 if they have seen her any time after Nov. 1.

Anyone with car video cameras who were in the area of Route 190 and Interstate-91 or Route 5 in Enfield or Suffield on Nov. 1 after she walked away at about 1:40 p.m. is asked to check their video footage for any possible sighting.

She was located in a canal in the river... as I speculated. I am hoping she did not suffer in any way.
