HARTFORD, CT — A young teenaged girl from Hartford went missing the day before her 14th birthday, according to a Silver Alert issued Monday night.
According to the alert, issued at 7:26 p.m. Monday, Hartford police are looking for Safa Syeda, who turns 14 on Tuesday, July 19.
She is described as having black hair and brown eyes, standing 4-feet-5-inches tall and weighing 90 pounds. Police said she was an "endangered runaway."
Police in the alert said she was last seen wearing a light blue, hooded sweatshirt and wearing blue jeans.
No other information about Syeda was available.
