The Connecticut State Police, Troop D-Danielson is calling to notify you about a missing elderly female suffering from dementia.
Troop D is looking for Sylvia Perkins
• DOB: 09/11/1931.
•Sylvia is described to be a white female with grey hair, has blue eyes
•is approximately 5ft 7in and weighs about 130lbs.
•Sylvia was last seen wearing a white button up cardigan shirt, black pants and pink shoes.
•She may also be carrying a stuffed teddy bear.

She walked away from her residence on Wade Rd in the town of Pomfret. State Police are asking residents to please check the exteriors of their homes as well as any outbuildings.

If found, she may only respond to Sylvia Pike. Anyone with information is asked to contact Troop D at 860-779-4900 or 911
immediately.

Update to original notification:

Connecticut State Police have canceled a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old woman who was missing from Pomfret after she was found on Monday.

State police said Sylvia Perkins had been missing since Sunday and was last seen wearing a white button up cardigan with black pants and pink shoes.

On Monday morning, state police canceled the Silver Alert for Perkins.

State police search team finds missing 88-year-old woman

Sylvia Perkins, the woman reported missing from Pomfret was located Monday morning by a State Police search and rescue K-9 team in a wooded area.
