State police have issued a statewide alert for a missing Plainfield man.

William G. Corbin, 47, has been missing since Friday, police said. He was last seen about noon on Main Street in Moosup. He was driving his red 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee that has Connecticut license plate 313ZVY.

Corbin is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 270 pounds.

Anyone with information about Corbin is asked to call Plainfield police at (860) 564-0804.
