An unknown woman was found hanged on the fence of a children’s playground on Nosická Street in Prague 10 – Strašnice, Czech Republic on January 4th. The woman committed suicide. Although the police have used all available means, the woman’s name is still unknown.

The unknown woman had a heavier build, was approximately 165 cm (5’5”) tall, and appeared to be around 60 years old.

If you recognize the woman or have any information that could help identify her, please contact Czech police.

Relatively widely publicized in Czech media when it happened. The mainstream news sites even included the post mortem picture.
It's very odd the case hit a dead end.

There is a possibility that she was not local, maybe a refugee or worker from Ukraine or another country where people come to Czechia to work menial jobs in hope of a better life.

You're right, that's very likely.

That would explain why noone appears to be missing her. TBH I have no idea how Czech LE works and how well they handle missing person reports of adults. So she may very well be a local that maybe even was reported missing. But somehow I get the vibes that she was a foreigner - I know it is weird, but ive only seen that style of jacket in some Eastern European countries, specifically FSU countries or Poland. Czechia, not so much, it is a somewhat outdated style.

Seems like a pretty promising match! On the UID's page it states that you need to contact the czech 158 hotline to submit a tip, which isn't available outside of the country.
