Darlene left a nightclub in Daytona Beach, Florida around midnight on January 22, 1983. She and a friend walked to their separate cars together. Her friend left the area and Darlene has never been seen again.
Darlene's vehicle was located later in the day on Grandview and Seabreeze Avenues, which was where she parked the car initially. Her purse was found inside the vehicle along with her driver's license, glasses, and a few dollars, but there was no sign of a struggle and no trace of Darlene herself. The only thing missing was the keys to her car. Her case remains unsolved.
