Looks like one raccoon wasn’t going to let groundhogs get all the attention today.

Commuters at Spadina Station were shocked to see a nocturnal passenger on the subway Tuesday morning when a raccoon hopped on and tried to head south.

Not about a raccoon but an opossum. The Possum Drop in Brasstown, NC is a familiar story to me. PETA has been involved in litigation to stop the possum drop. PETA believes the possum is being mistreated. The possum involved in this possum drop is well fed and taken care of - always allowed to roam off after the official possum drop is over. Most folks believe the possum is better off...at least the possum is kept off the streets, literally "off" the streets, if ya know what I mean.
