GLEN ST. MARY, Fla. - Family and friends of a group of men who were arrested or killed during a violent shootout at a Baker County home are defending their loved ones.
The home invasion happened in April, and investigators said it stemmed from a feud on social media. The Baker County Sheriff's Office said seven masked men broke into the home during the middle of the night and traded gunfire with three to four other people inside. One of the alleged home invaders, Cory Lauramore, 18, was killed.

The Sheriff's Office is backing its arrest of the men, saying it appears to be a self-defense or stand-your-ground case.

UPDATE:
The Baker County Sheriff’s Office is announcing the arrest of five individuals in connection with this weekend’s shooting incident. The shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between the suspects and the individuals residing at, 9368 South CR 125 in Glen St Mary, Florida. The feud was fueled by derogatory and threatening rhetoric between the two groups on social media platforms and eventually escalated to this shooting.

Early Sunday morning seven individuals, William Lauramore (24yo, w/m), Zachary Bell (20yo, w/m), Joseph Albino (24yo, w/m), Christian Watkins (19yo, w/m), Cory Lauramore (18yo, w/m), Cayden Lauramore (15yo, w/m), and a juvenile (16yo w/m, his identity is being withheld at this time), arrived at the 9368 South CR 125 residence. They were armed with firearms, wearing masks and other clothing to hide their identity. They went with the intent to confront the occupants of the residence in reference to the ongoing feud.

The suspects forced their way into the residence and confronted the occupants, David Boldry (22yo w/m), David Johnson (21yo m/m), Matthew Cornish (19yo w/m), and Justin Raulerson (18yo w/m), who were awaken by loud noises and yelling. The occupants of the residence realized they were being threatened, armed themselves, and exchanged gunfire with the suspects. As a result of the shooting, three of the suspects were shot multiple times, Cory Lauramore, (was later pronounced deceased from his gunshot wounds), the unidentified juvenile, ( currently being treated at Shands Jax), and William Lauramore, (treated and released to the custody of law enforcement).

William Lauramore is in custody in Duval, County and will be transported to the Baker County Detention Center later this evening.

The suspects are currently charged with Home Invasion. There may be additional charges added at a later date.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office is the investigating agency in this case and is continuing to follow up on leads and other circumstances that led to this incident. FDLE was utilized to process the crime scene, which is our normal practice in cases such as these.
