The shooting was the result of an ongoing feud between the suspects and the individuals residing at, 9368 South CR 125 in Glen St Mary, Florida. The feud was fueled by derogatory and threatening rhetoric between the two groups on social media platforms and eventually escalated to this shooting.

They were armed with firearms, wearing masks and other clothing to hide their identity. They went with the intent to confront the occupants of the residence in reference to the ongoing feud.
The suspects forced their way into the residence and confronted the occupants, David Boldry (22yo w/m), David Johnson (21yo m/m), Matthew Cornish (19yo w/m), and Justin Raulerson (18yo w/m), who were awaken by loud noises and yelling.
