DALLAS -- The Dallas Police Department says a suspicious device was reported at Dealey Plaza at about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Officials said officers arrived to find a green, plywood maze with a rodent inside running on an exercise ball. Attached to the ball was a kitchen timer with wires hooked up to a small circuit board or computer hard drive.
