I wonder if he took anything from his parents home. He killed and injured in a pattern. Killed 2 people (parents),injured one, killed 2 more, injured one, and killed 2 more. He tried to escape custody. He is NEVER going home. Prayers for those that were injured and the families of those who were tragically killed. So sick of the violence.

James, 35, took issue with his current lawyer's intention to seek a mental competency evaluation, which lawyer, Russ Hunt Jr., mentioned at a pre-trial hearing in April would likely be sought, according to CBS Austin. Judge Clifford Brown of the 147th Travis County Criminal District said if James decides to release his current lawyer and defend himself, he will still need a mental assessment
