Deer Follows Runners

It happens all the time, runners suddenly chased or following by a dog. But what about a mule deer who decides to join in the run?

How funny! We have deer that run around in our neighborhood, you have to be careful driving at night. But, I've never had one join me on my walks, maybe I should start running!

In races there is a runner at the very end called a sweeper, who makes sure no runners are left behind. LOL!

I wonder if this deer was imprinted or domesticated to allow the petting.
I also have heard of deer sleeping around a hurt or sleeping person.

There is a cat I have been feeding for about 6 months. When I walk my three dogs in the morning he follows sometimes rushing ahead then falling behind. If he gets too behind I call out "Fred, hurry up," and he comes running. The dogs like him. When I can afford to get him neutered and vaccinated. I will make him an inside cat!
