Denise left her family's home in Connersville, Indiana on March 28, 1986.
She was going to retrieve a purse she thought she may have left at a party the previous night. No word of her whereabouts has been heard since a girl friend saw her at 2:00 pm that day at a Fashion Bug Store in Connersville. A farmer found her car locked and abandoned later that day. Several agencies gathered using a canine and air search but no trace of Denise was found. Foul play is suspected.
