The Australian shepherd owned by a rural Tescott man murdered last month has been located in California.
Someone posted photos of a dog resembling Zeus on the Help the Matt Schoshke Family Facebook page, which helped family members and law enforcement locate the dog, which had been adopted out by an animal shelter in California.
Robert Willard Colson, 34, of Bucksport, Maine, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the Aug. 11 shooting death of Matt Schoshke, 35, of Tescott.
Schoshkes pickup truck and dog were missing when a family member found his body at his home on Aug. 12.
