❗ We’re appealing for information to find Emily Bomken who is reported as missing.

ℹ️ Emily, 39, of Tidenham Chase, was last seen on Saturday 12 November at around 6.45pm and officers are concerned for her welfare.

ℹ️ She is described as around 5’ 5” tall, of slim build with light brown hair and blue eyes.

ℹ️ Emily is believed to be wearing blue jeans, a dark-coloured cotton top, a navy blue padded knee length coat, a pale pink scarf and dark brown boots.

ℹ️ She has links to Chepstow and is known to drive a black Volkswagen Golf.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts should call 101 or DM us, quoting log reference 2200383741.

Officers were joined by marine rescuers on Severnside in the early hours of Sunday morning as they searched for 39-year-old Emily Bomken.

Gwent Police said it was in the area "carrying out enquiries in connection with our missing person appeal".

Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) crews from Beachley and Newport were among those who spent a total of six and a half hours on the Severn, as part of the search operation.

 
THE search for a missing woman has extended into a third day, police have confirmed.

Emily Bomken was last seen on Saturday at around 6.45pm and officers are concerned for her welfare.

The 39-year-old is from Tidenham Chase - just over the border in Gloucestershire - but has links to Chepstow.

 
Police searching for a missing woman have informed her family that a body has been found.

Gwent Police had been searching for Emily Bomken since she went missing on Saturday, November 12. Officers had been searching the River Severn for the 39-year-old from Tidenham Chase, Gloucestershire.

On Wednesday, a force spokesperson said Gwent Police, South Wales Fire and Rescue Service and the Welsh Ambulance Service had been called to Beach Road in the St Brides area of Newport on Saturday, November 19, to reports of a woman being found unresponsive. Officers attended the scene at 5.30pm and paramedics confirmed the woman had died.

 
Oh no :(!!! Formal identification is still pending but I wish to forward my condolences to Emily’s loved ones. Rest in peace, Emily.
