A desperate search is underway for a mother and her young daughter who have been missing for at least five days.
Emily Janetzki, 35, and her daughter Olena Hrobelko, two, were last seen in Lavington, on the NSW and Victorian border on Thursday
Police are concerned for the pair’s welfare, after their family approached police for help in finding the mother and daughter.
A public appeal for help has now been launched.
“Emily may be travelling in a blue Mazda with NSW registration CGM85P,” NSW Police said in a statement.
“They are known to frequent the Lavington and Myrtleford areas.”
Ms Janetzki has been described as caucasian, 165cm tall with a thin build and blonde, long hair.
The mother was last seen wearing a dark-coloured jumper, black jeans and black boots, police said.
Olena was last seen wearing light-coloured pants and a jumper.
Images of Ms Janetzki and her daughter have been shared to help with the search, as the family are deeply concerned for the pair’s welfare.

Five days! But other than that very little information, not even if they were visiting that area or live there. I couldn’t find a Facebook profile. Fingers crossed for them, hope it’s just that they needed to get away and take a break.

Yes no updates and doesn’t seem to be a lot of traction given there is a child involved. Maybe there is a chance that mum has taken some time out for them both? Really hope so.

Wow, this is terrifying. :/ So we're up to like 18 days missing now? Almost three weeks... two is so little. I really hope they didn't run into an unsavory character.

Seems to be a custody case:
The Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (the Court) is seeking public assistance to help locate a young child, Olena Hrobelko.
Hope this means they are safe.
