Actress Estelle Getty has died.

Her son, Carl Gettleman, says the co-star of the television show "The Golden Girls" died early Tuesday at home in Los Angeles.

She was quite the funny lady. I am so sorry to hear that she suffered advanced dementia.

I love watching the Golden Girls. My mom watched them when they came on years ago. I watch them now. DH laughs at me...but the show is so funny. Sophia was a hoot!! I love her off-the-cuff comments!! LOL!
