Everlyse Cabrera was reported missing by her foster parents on June 10, 2006. They told police they think the little girl climbed a stool, unlocked a deadbolt, and walked out the front door in the overnight hours.
Though they are not suspects at this time, police say the foster parents have stopped cooperating with the investigation. Her foster parents say she let herself out, but investigators are taking a closer look at what may have happened in the house before she disappeared.
Meanwhile, Everlyse's biological parents -- as well as her foster parents' neighbors -- have continued their search.
Police are still trying to pinpoint the exact date little Everlyse was last seen by someone other than her foster parents.
