A Lake Charles man, who is a member of what law enforcement call a nihilistic violent extremist group, allegedly stalked and threatened a minor and her family.

A federal grand jury in Lafayette indicted Lake Charles 19-year-old Carter Miles Ledoux twice on Wednesday, according to a news release from the United States Attorney’s Office Western District of Louisiana.

In one of the two indictments, Ledoux was charged with stalking, threatening, and “swatting” a female minor and her family after she made a social media post which “indicated support for interracial relationships,” according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Ledouz allegedly then conspired with other members in the extremist group and encouraged them to do the same.

Separately, Ledoux was also indicted for possessing child pornography following a search of his cellphone that showed him possessing child sexual abuse materials, which also included toddlers being sexually abused.
