Family blames bullying in 10-year-old girl's suicide

Two weeks ago, A. C. told her mom she was being bullied at Ridge Farm Elementary School, where she was an honor student. She was also being bullied in the neighborhood.

That is just beyond sad. Only ten years old. My son is nine. I couldn't imagine.

How sad! What a tragedy, only 10-years-old, and she was pretty too! I know what she went through- I was bullied for all of 4th, 5th, and 6th grade, but I am a survivor. I have a 10-year-old now...

10 years old is awfully young to commit suicide. Those bullies are going to be future criminals. We don't need another future Jerry Sandusky, Casey Anthony, or Osama bin Laden. :furious:

She was called a and she didn't even know what it was
AC's 14 yr old sister found her

3 different teachers told her to stop tattling when she tried to tell she was being bullied

300 people of a town of 900 showed up to her funeral

now they are interviewing AC's mom and aunt, its sooo dang sad

So sad. This is about an hour from me, so it's on local news. I guess some parents are really upset because the school is being hush-hush about it.(local parent on the news WCIA)
