Gorgeous isn't it? I think the backdrop is "Big Tuna's" in Oak Creek...great food! Edited: Oops...just read caption, the Elks Bar...well if you ever visit here, Big Tuna's is great!

Lots of characters still roam these mountains...I loved reading the comments from some of the locals and especially the family.

For whatever reasons he left their lives, they know he was looked after.

Ski area aside and McMansions...most of these small towns are populated by hard working coal miners and cattle ranchers, locals working whatever job they have to to live here. I may gripe about the snow/winters and the distance from just about EVERYTHING (1) but there are some really good people.

Well, this story gave me the chills. I feel like crying my eyes out now for some reason. It just gives me such mixed emotions.

RIP Cowboy Bob, Happy Trails to you

This story just touched my heart. I am so glad he had a 'family.'
People cared for him and about him.
And I am glad his biological family got to know where he had been all these years and know that he had a home.
