Report: Milton couple arrested for neglect after 11-year-old son hospitalized at 36 lbs

MILTON, Fla. -- A Milton couple is charged with child neglect after their 11-year-old son was hospitalized in December weighing just 36 pounds, according to an

Brandon Palmore, 40, and Shantell Palmore, 38, were both arrested last Thursday in Santa Rosa County on a felony charge of child neglect with great bodily harm.

Why did they single out this poor boy for such horrific treatment! Is it because he was a boy? The girls were fed and witnessed the abuse. I hope they all can get mental health care.

According to the report, after receiving treatment and care at the hospital for approximately one month, the boy gained 20 pounds and improved to a weight of 56 lbs.
