Benitez-Lopez has been charged with 20 counts of raping a minor and one count of impregnating a child. He’s being held in a local jail and was denied bond.

more at the link above that I chose not to post. The child is not identified but some of the specifics around the circumstances of the assaults make me nervous that they could suggest her ID.

After being taken to a local hospital on November 30th, doctors performed a pregnancy test and ultrasound on the child and revealed she was in fact pregnant.


Deputies described the child as emotional, crying, nervous, and scared when interviewing her at the hospital.
