Officers conducted an "intense investigation" of the victim's home and found DNA evidence that positively identified 14-year-old Jesse Stone as the attacker, police said.

This happened in June... didn't get much press time .
imo, he has that "little 🤬🤬🤬🤬" type of demeanor...
Best thing for him to be 'inside' and hopefully get refocused.

Last night I just happened to watch a 20-30 min youtube video of this kid's interrogation. He was living with his grandmother. His grandmother was present for most of his interrogation. The kid was lying (there was physical evidence to prove he was at the scene, in the victim's bedroom, etc.) The grandmother repeatedly encouraged him to tell the truth. I meant to later search his name to see what became of him, but forgot.

Sounds like unfettered access to violent videos involving women. Gma probably had no idea he was watching that type video, didn’t realize there needed to parental controls, much less having help to set them up, etc.

No parents involved? No healthy male role models in his life? The adults in this child’s life failed him. Now he’s a juvenile offender until he’s 18, and now he’s charged as an adult, so he’s going to pay for the rest of his life.

I respectfully disagree with the adults in his life failed him. It sounds like he failed his grandmother and society. He is 14 and knows what appropriate behavior is. JMO

We also don’t know what kind of trauma he endured to get here. I’m guessing there was significant trauma in his life.

Which still makes him accountable for his actions and should be handled appropriately.

I agree that he is 14 and knows what appropriate behavior is, I also agree he was probably failed somewhere along the way.

We can hold people accountable while also acknowledging our system for protecting kids sucks

A new video obtained by WESH 2 News showed what deputies said: Jesse Stone running away just minutes after the 91-year-old woman was raped.

His grandmother ultimately urged him to fess up to the crime

I guess sentencing is still February 7.
I really do wonder what he had done with his adolescent sexual drive before this incident. Perhaps we shall learn more.
I just hope the 91 year old woman is doing ok, and has some decent support.

I got really close to a woman who was raped at 76. She was a strong tough woman, and she fought her abuser in the courts---she actually single handedly changed the rape laws in the state of NH. But as she got older... I knew her into her early 90s, her preoccupation of what happened to her.... just kindof took over so much of her mind. It was so hard to experience.... She kept thinking she had to keep fighting the fight....
and it wore her down.... reciting, and reviewing the awful parts of what happened to her.
