Oh, and his driver's license is revoked.

...for three years.

IMO:
Something smells off with these claims, like real off.
Could there have been pre-sentencing back channeling for a civil settlement between Galle's defense attorney/family and attorneys for the victim's families?

'Below is a statement from Chief Assistant State Attorney Alan Johnson regarding the sentence:'

"The victims' families have written to us that they did not object to this plea. Some of them didn't even want him to go to jail at all. One wanted us to drop the case entirely. What is the proper sentence in the case like this? No amount of prison time will bring the victims back to their families. We feel this is an appropriate resolution. This case is a tragedy."

Alcohol was detected on this breath but no info on what his BAC measured at the time of the homicide, if LE even checked it.
I'm curious about the capture of him going 181 mph and how this was obtained by LE?
Was it after the fact and how is the speed determined?

"Court documents reveal Noah Thomas Galle had gone faster during other times than the 151 mph speed he was driving when the crash occurred."

"One video showed Galle driving at 181 mph on I-95 past the Gateway Boulevard overpass, deputies said".

There are areas near Gateway Blvd that have cameras set up for speeding enforcement - that's one possibility. The other is the records produced by his own vehicle. Many modern vehicles record activity of many kinds, including speed and braking, sending it to the manufacturer's cloud. Some store it in the vehicle computer.

I think this recording technology is how his speed of 151 mph in the deadly incident was established. Note that Galle regularly used his vehicle on public roads at these tremendous speeds. He also made his own YouTube videos of his speeding.

As far as the sentence and the victim families are concerned, these are very poor people, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was some kind of civil settlement involved.
