Family Offers Reward Leading To Shooter's Arrest

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. -- The family of 63-year-old Albert Avenaim is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the person who fatally gunned him down Friday night.

According to police, Avenaim dropped his wife off in front of Padrino's Cuban Cuisine. He then drove around to look for a parking spot.

"The only parking spot that he could find was way back in the alley," cousin Felix Avenaim said. "And as he parked, apparently he got confronted with this individual."

Police said that individual shot Avenaim twice while he was sitting in the driver's seat with the keys still in the ignition. The robber tore Avenaim's pocket and took his wallet.
