URGENT NEW APPEAL - Alexander Hodgson-Doughty - #missing #Jacksonville #florida

30 year old Alexander was last seen at Bay Street Ba and Grill, 119 East Bay Street,

Jacksonville, Florida at around 6.30pm on Sunday 11th September 2022.

He then got into a taxi but has not been seen since.

Alexander is 6ft 4ins (193cm) tall and of medium to stocky build. He has short blonde/sandy-coloured hair and green eyes.

Alexander may be vulnerable and his family are extremely concerned for his safety.

He got into a taxi? Not an Uber or Lyft? I'm sure LE has contacted the taxi company and investigated the taxi driver. A taxi would have driven thru areas with traffic cams so it seems a drivers info could be verified by those, if any. Did the taxi driver return to the taxi company without their passenger?
 
Bumping. If one googles his name there’s a recent piece of news which could potentially have something to do with his disappearance.

It may be related to someone else with the same name though, I’m not able to verify and will gladly delete this post if someone finds out it’s unrelated.

It's quite an unusual surname so would be quite a coincidence if not him, and may explain why he has been described as being vulnerable? Although from reading the article thst person is named but not accused/on trial?

Yes, not accused/on trial but it might have a negative impact on his career with Shell, too. Being vulnerable as well and/or possibly being ashamed of this kind of publicity…? IF it is him mentioned in the recent news articles.

Hopefully he will be found safe.

Alexander's family are asking for anyone who may have seen Alexander at either of the following locations between 14th-18th September 2022 as they are trying to piece together his movements. US authorities are currently not actively searching but Alexander remains missing and potentially vulnerable.

Circle K Garage, 490 S Lee Street, Kingsland, GA

Kings Suites and Mini Storage, 504 S Lee St, Kingsland, GA

The Kingsland Police Department is asking you to please be on the lookout for this individual. His name is Alexander Hodgson-Doughty and he is missing out of Kingsland, GA. He was last seen on September 11, 2022. He also goes by the names of Alex and Oscar. He speaks with a heavy British accent. He is not believed to be a danger to the public but may be a danger to himself.

If you see him please contact Investigator Daniel at the Kingsland Police Department at 912-729-8254.

GA? I thought he went missing in Florida.

Yes, it seems it was Alexander's friend who was convicted in court, not Alexander himself.
Although the incident happened at Alexander's apartment, Alexander himself was innocent and not even on trial. He may have been called as some sort of witness though, although the article doesn't say.

That's quite some way in a taxi, it's 35 miles between the two places.
However, Alexander had a good well paid job working for Shell Oil, so money wouldn't have been an issue.

I wonder if Florida LE have looked at his bank accounts to see if he has been using them?

I also wonder if the British police are able to do that from their end?

At least that way we'd know if he was still alive and the last place.....
